Preemie, Infant Loss, and SIDs

After the loss of a child you may be very confused, angry, or have feelings of guilt.  It is very helpful to seek out support, people around you may care deeply about you, and hurt as well.  We ask that you look into the links we have on our Helpful Resource Page, and Turn to God for healing, and find a grief counselor in your area.  It can help so much to have someone to talk to in person. There is also many online support groups, we can help you find if needed. (we also just launched ours Private Facebook Group)

Your child will always be in your heart and as any parent you would want your child to be happy.  We feel that your child would want you to be happy as well.  Life may not ever be the same, but you can go on, you can keep your child's memory alive.  Many, many families find comfort in doing good for others in their child's honor to be a way to bring positive to their child's memory.

There are many different feelings your friends and family may have... Some might feel it is time for you to move on, others think that bringing up your child may "remind" you of them in a sad way.  This is another reason to reach out and find support groups, others that have also lost a child will understand and be there to help you figure out how to get through, the grief while holding your child in a special place in your heart.
